Tim Hendy: Archives

I tune, restore and sell pianos. My passion is to provide the highest level of tuning, restoration and sales of fine pianos through personal service to new and existing customers. I trained at Steinway & Sons (1978-1984) and have been a member of the Pianoforte Tuners' Association since 1993.

This page of my website gives customers and colleagues an insight into my professional training, musical interests, and extensive experience in tuning, restoration and sales of fine pianos. The current selection features pictures from my time at Steinway & Sons, along with documents pertaining to my employment there.

I am able to provide first-class tuning and maintenance of customers instruments, and also by assisting them to obtain the best quaility piano available within budget. Please ring me to book an appointment to arrange tuning or service of your piano or to enquire about the purchase of a piano.

Far left, R. Glazebrook, Managing Director, writes:

Left, Mr Glazbrook continues,
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
"Mr. Tim Hendy was employed by us as a trainee piano technician from 27th August 1978 until 14th March 1984. During that period he proved to be a conscientious worker, responding well to a heavy work schedule, and a good timekeeper. We regret that he decided to terminate his employment with us . . ."
